Exchange and returns
We're happy to accept returns of unused items in their original condition (unwashed, undamaged, with tags attached) within 15 days of delivery for full refund.
AT HOME COLLECTION
You can request an at-home pick-up for your returns and exchanges by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. or calling/WhatsApping our customer care at +91 8897691147 / +91 9963577727 from Monday to Saturday, between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (IST). We’ll look into the issue and get back to you within 48 working hours. The amount deducted from your final refund amount will be Rs 200 for all orders. In case, the refund is being initiated because of an incorrectly shipped item or damaged product, no amount will be deducted from the refund amount.
The shipping charges paid at time of placing the order will be deducted from your refund amount
Any complaint that is reported after 15 days of delivery will not be accepted.

We offer size exchanges only for the same product, style, and color that you have purchased. In case your required size is not available, a credit note for the amount spent will be issued to you.
Any items purchased during the sale are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Unless you received them in a poor/broken/damaged condition, we will send you a replacement of the same product. In the event of non availability of the product, we will issue you a credit note/refund.
Please do not accept a delivery if the packaging is not properly sealed or is damaged.
For order issues such as damaged or defective products, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving the products, along with product images.

We will arrange for the return / exchange at the earliest.
Shipping and delivery
1. We charge local courier charges ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 90 depending on the delivery location. The charges do not vary with the size of the parcel or number of products.
2. Cash on Delivery (COD) option can be selected at time of checkout. COD charges of Rs 100 extra are added for all COD orders irrespective of the order value.
3. We'll get your order to you as soon as possible! We're taking extra safety precautions with packaging and delivery but we will still aim to have your order with you within 5-7 business days.
4. In case you have not received your order within the advised time frame, we request you to raise the concern the same day of receiving the delivery confirmation notification from Kritikala.
5. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not set as business days for standard and express deliveries.
Unfortunately, currently we do not have any service available to expedite the delivery of order. However, if you need delivery within an urgent timeframe, do call or message us before placing the order and we will let you know what is possible.
In cases like this, your money is completely safe. Due to technical instabilities, the amount sometimes debits but fails to process at the payment gateway. When this happens the amount is usually reversed to the customer’s account within 24 hours. In the unlikely event that this payment went through, we will either process your order or refund the full amount to the original source of payment.
All orders placed on Kritikala are shipped through our courier partners such as Delhivery or Blue Dart. In case the pin code is not serviceable by courier, we will dispatch the order through the Speed Post service of Indian Post.
Once the item is shipped from our end, you should receive a Whatsapp message and email on the contact details provided at the time of placing the order providing the courier tracking details.

Orders are processed from our office cum store in Sheikpet, Hyderabad. Orders will be delivered to the shipping address you submit at checkout.
If you are not living in India, or want the products shipped to someone who lives out of India,we follow an offline process. We request you to let us know the products that they would like to order through email / phone call / whatsapp and the delivery address so that we can estimate the shipping charges and confirm back. We will then send you a payment link to pay through any international credit card. The products will be shipped by a reputed delivery company such as Fedex or Bluedart and courier tracking details will be provided over email / whatsapp.
In case you have received a message of payment failure, you may try to place the order once again. However if your amount has been debited, please do not retry- chances are that your order has already been received to us.
Please share your email id and the exact amount charged to us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can quickly check at the payment gateway and inform you accordingly.
We accept the following modes of payment for domestic transactions:

Order Cancellations or Modifications
Order's can be cancelled (whole/partially) only before they are dispatched. Once the order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and our regular return/exchange policies will be applicable.
Yes, your shipping address can be modified before the order is invoiced/dispatched. Once invoiced/dispatched, no changes can be made to the address.
No, unfortunately, we are unable to modify the products (size/fit/colour) once an order is placed.

The prices for our products are the same whether they are to be shipped within India or outside. We will provide you with a Rupee price for the products and shipping charges and you can make the payment using any standard international credit card (visa / master card / american express)
We will be using an offline process for international orders.
- You will need to create an account on the online store and add products to your cart.
- Then contact us over phone / whatsapp/ email to let us know the shipping address and the customer name with which the cart has been made
- Based on the estimated shipping costs, we will let you know the total amount due in Rupees.
- We will share a payment link for the amount payable and you can pay through any international credit card.
- Once the payment is made, we will ship the products using standard shipping companies such as Fedex or BlueDart and share the tracking details
We deliver to more than 230 countries. Please contact us if you are interested in placing an order for delivery outside of India with the delivery address. We will check with the courier companies and confirm the availability of shipping services, expected delivery time and charges.
The courier tracking details will be provided by email once the product is shipped. You will be able to go to the courier company website (such as Fedex.com) and track your consignment using the AWB number provided. Please ensure that you give a valid mobile number, email ID and your correct shipping address including zip code to ensure smooth delivery of your order.

Duties and taxes for international orders are not part of product or shipping charges. Most countries charge duties on imported items that are levied at the time of port entry, and vary based on the destination country and the products imported. You will need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency (Fedex, BlueDart etc.) at the time of your order delivery, after you receive an invoice from the shipping agent.
• Any part cancellation of the order may attract shipping charges on the balance order
• Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays in India are not set as business days for standard deliveries
• The order will be confirmed after the total cost (including shipping charges) is accepted by you and payment made to the payment link provided.
• Any documents required by the local authorities (residing country) for the custom's clearance, will have to be arranged by the customer. In case of non availability of the document if the delivery of the order is denied by the local airport authorities, Kritikala will not be liable for any refund.
• Duty as mandated by your country of shipment will have to be borne by you. In case of non-payment of duties and taxes to receive the shipment, Kritikala will unfortunately not be able to entertain a request for refund
• International orders are not eligible for exchanges and returns
• In case of any failed delivery due to customer not reachable or denying to accept the parcel, Kritikala will not be liable for any refund or additional charges to reattempt delivery. The order will be considered as abandoned by the courier company.
We are so happy when customers want to send our sustainable, handmade products as gifts to their loved ones! Please select the option of gift wrap during check out so we know the product is a gift. Also mention the personalised message at the time of checkout.
- There is no special packaging for a gift. All our products will be sent in a cloth bag with an outer cover of plastic packaging as required by the courier company.
- We will ensure that price tags are cut off.
- The personalised gift message will be handwritten on a small card that explains that the products were made by a social enterprise working to support women artisans.
- There is no additional charge for this process.
- If you forget to select the gift wrap option at time of checkout, please do contact us immediately on phone / whatsapp so we can ensure that the price tag is cut off and gift message enclosed before packing the product.
